Leon DEC Chair Ryan Ray

Ryan Ray has served as Leon County’s Democratic Party Chair since 2022.

For over a decade, Ryan has advanced our Democratic values as Communications Director at Florida House Victory, helped lead field efforts for Gwen Graham for Congress and managed numerous local campaigns.

Under Ryan’s tenure, Leon Democrats:

• Defeated the Republican plan to Divide our City

• Dramatically increased social media visibility

• Raised over $56,000 — including $25,000 on hand

• Successfully brought accountability to Republican developers influencing Tallahassee local elections

In 2025 & beyond, if re-elected we will focus on

• “Deep canvassing” year-round in key precincts

• Increasing support for voter registration efforts

• Targeting Republican-held judicial seats

• Forging Democratic unity among elected officials and stakeholder groups, ensuring GOP incursions into Deep Blue Tallahassee are always met with resistance.
